Aldona B’s love of communications and the arts truly expanded over 15 years ago when she began working as a publicist for Alberta Theatre Projects. At Aldona B Creative we specialize in Public Relations (PR) within the entertainment and lifestyle sectors, with an emphasis on theatre and film, as well as book/publishing PR. We are fortunate to work with a diverse group of talented businesses and individuals on a range of small projects to larger campaigns, and can support you with all of your PR needs.  

When you work with us, we provide you with a PR strategy offering targeted media outreach, while working with you to craft distinct and customized messaging for print, radio and online media. We will focus on core messaging that resonates with your current and desired audience, while reaching as many media outlets and readers as possible to increase your brand’s exposure and awareness to assist with sales through earned media.   • Calgary International Film Festival

    In addition to our Public Relations support at CIFF, we also take care of the organization's media partnerships and digital advertising campaigns, and have also assisted with social media and marketing strategy

  • Calgary Opera

    We are thrilled to be supporting Calgary Opera in 2025 with Public Relations! Calgary Opera has become known nationally and internationally for its commitment to the development of Canadian talent and the creation of new operas.

  • Handsome Alice

    It’s a great honour and joy to support Calgary’s local theatre scene, and we are super jazzed to continue working and supporting Handsome Alice Theatre and their important work.

  • Verb Theatre

    We first worked with Verb Theatre on their Marketing and Communication strategy in late 2019, followed by Public Relations in early 2020. After a short hiatus, we joined forces again last theatre season for We’re Gonna Die, and can’t wait to work together again for their 2025 production Every Brilliant Thing this April.

  • Forte Musical Theatre

    Best known for Calgary cult favourite Naughty, but Nice!, Forte Musical Theatre Guild have been producing exciting musicals in our city for many years. We have now worked with them for almost a decade and every show is truly a special treat! We are so excited for Austentatious, opening on April 8, 2025.

  • W&M Physical Theatre

    Working with W&M Physical Theatre in 2023 has been extremely rewarding - we’ve developed their communications strategy and executed a PR Campaign for their Wilddogs International Screendance Festival.

    We developed a Social Media Strategy for Kristen, and worked with her on a Public Relations campaign for a song/video release.

  • Cinnzeo Bakery Cafe

    We worked with Cinnzeo Bakery Cafe on the big announcement of their company re-brand after 23 years. Working and supporting local is big for us, and this company, their products and values are beautifully aligned with ours.

  • GAL Productions // Hit&Myth Productions

    Hit and Myth have been our client for many years and we were thrilled at their collaboration with Toronto based GAL Productions for Dora Mara: The Wicked One, which was part of the 2022 High Performance Rodeo. 

  • Dancers' Studio West (DSW)

    Dancers’ Studio West exists to support independent dance artists in Alberta. We first began working with the organization back in 2019, and are so thrilled to be supporting them again with a PR campaign as they launch their new strategic plan in 2024.
